Brady Picks: Favorite Holiday Tradition
Family traditions are a big part of what makes the holiday season so special.
Whether it’s decorating, cooking up a feast or shopping for and wrapping a
mountain of gifts, the winter months always mean extra time with friends and
family. With the holiday season fresh in our minds, we asked Brady
Communications employees to name their personal favorite holiday traditions.
"My brother and I compete to see who made the best turkey. I’ve got a little
winning streak going."
– Tim, information technology
"Spending Christmas Eve at my parents. There are a lot of us, so just getting
the family together is great."
– Malissa, Web development
"My favorite part has to be my grandma’s homemade stuffing and cranberries. It’s
the best. Bring on the leftovers!"
– Lindsay, design
"We have a gift exchange at my parents’ house on Christmas Eve. We all draw
names and we call it ‘Kris Kringle’."
– Dan, client services
"A couple years ago, my cousins got the Rock Band video game, so more recently,
we always go down to the basement after dinner and entertain each other with
amateur musical talent."
– Deanna, brand strategy
"My wife is French, so Christmas Eve is a bigger deal than Christmas Day. We buy
a lot of good, expensive food – we always get oysters – and enjoy celebrating
the season and spending time together."
– Bill, design
"Over the holidays I am always terrifically busy. The one thing I can always
count on is watching "The Christmas Story," but that’s because you can’t really
miss it!"
– Tom, Web development
