Internal Communications on a Global ScaleFirst Data is a global leader in electronic payment transactions and solutions. When they spun off Western Union, First Data wanted to create a campaign to engage its workforce, inform them of developments and most importantly, revitalize their mission and brand. Brady Communications developed a comprehensive communications campaign to meet their needs. The brand initiative and communications campaign were made up of multiple components: a case-bound book; a pocket guide; and a CD with downloadable posters, wallpapers and a screen saver. Since we were addressing a global audience, many materials were produced in six languages. One of the most crucial elements was logistics. Brady worked across several time zones and in three countries (the United States, the United Kingdom and Latvia) to coordinate the production of The First Data Story. On the day of the Western Union IPO, the communications program was delivered to more than 30,000 employees worldwide in 11 countries. In three short months, we helped First Data take their vision from concept to reality. |
